Sewerage is affecting human lives.
The news is reported from Vosman, Emalahleni. Community members have been complaining
about the bad smell of Sewerage and how it’s affecting them daily, it is unhealthy to always
inhale bad smells. Even the cars that pass through the Sewerage end up smelling the
Sewerage because it is really strong.
Some people have newborns, and we all know that newborn babies need to get the best
environment to avoid illnesses and diseases flying in the air. In our community everything
seems vice versa because of the careless Municipality, they don’t take care of our society.
There are a lot of breakages including Pipes, etc, the Sewerage has busted, and it flows like a
river. Children cannot even pass the roads without jumping, they even get dirty before arriving at
school, and they smell bad because of the dirtiness of the environment. There is no good living
in a place where there are too many issues, the sad part is the Government can simply solve
the problems but they are all quiet and enjoying money without even trying to look out for the
community.
I interviewed a learner who always jumps the road where there’s Sewerage.
Learner said that it is really hard to wake up knowing that you wearing clean clothes but after a
few minutes of walking on the street, your uniform gets stains and dirt because you have to
jump the Sewerage street to get early to school. We’re not asking for much but the fixing of
pipes will be appreciated in the community, We have been suffering for a long, and we just
plead with the Government to at least make our small wishes come true, and do their job as
supposed to.

Nothing more will make our community happy than fulfilling their small wishes, we plead to the
government to make our environment better.
