Life in Zambia is always expected to be sustainable when someone is educated, having a good job or running a successful business but not for Richard who is earning a living through used plastic bottles. Richard has been collecting used plastic bottles for quite some time now and when they are enough he then takes them to the industrial companies like the Zambian Breweries, Trade Kings and other companies that deal with plastic waste recycling.
The plastic waste recycling initiative is helping keeping the environment clean and at the same time creating employment as well as business opportunities for not only Richard’s I interviewed but many others too.
