As the rainy season approaches, residents of Etfuntini in Madzaka are frustrated about the donga that is growing very fast towards the main road and homesteads. Sandile Jele did a video interview with Simon Zulu who is the resident of that area. Simon Zulu stated that the the donga has already caused several accidents. “Most of our livestock fall and die inside the donga”, he said. “Our main road has developed some cracks. What worries us the most now is our children who also fall to that donga if not monitored,” said Simon Zulu. He further stated that they have since requested the Environmental Fund which is the department or Eswatini Environment Authority to help them with funds to cover the donga.
